hi im still in toronto haah. i haven't left due to the tremendous difficulty in obtaining a WORK VISA - and this is an unpaid internship, why do I need a work visa? the us consolate is making my job as difficult as possible... Firstly, they discourage the employment of workers from outside the country by making the process of obtaining a visa VERY CONFUSING and LENGTHY and secondly, they try to suck as much money out of your pockets while doing so. Hence the fact that right now, I am in tremendous debt and at the age of 21. SO for future reference and my personal advice to you, just stick to working IN canada, they're nicer here. i guess this is how badly i want to do this... as for now i won't be leaving for another couple weeks - or for however long it takes for the visa to go through ...IF it goes through.. im so ... sad.
